We chose one industry and made ourselves responsible for the whole chain: reading the controller on the wall, working out what the data means, and closing the work order at the far end. That is a narrower business than a general-purpose data platform, and deliberately so — your estate does not arrive here as a modelling exercise somebody still has to do.
We are not a software company
Plant, panels and meters are the work we come from. It shows — the platform already knows what a VAV box is, and which variables belong in an energy baseline (domain experience built in: the equipment types and the baseline drivers come from having surveyed, integrated and commissioned that plant ourselves).
Deliberately narrow
Buildings, sites and the work that keeps them running. Not CRM, not ERP. A platform stretched across every industry is shallow in all of them, and this one has to be right about a compressor.
One accountable party
Survey, instrument, integrate, commission, run. Not a licence and a list of partners at exactly the point it gets difficult, which is often the panel nobody on site can read.
Open at the integration layer
Two gateways, because the two jobs are not the same. For building systems, meters and controllers, the IoT Edge gateway runs Tridium Niagara — an open industry standard, so any competent integrator can work on it, including one that is not us. For fire, a purpose-built gateway reads the panel listen-only and never writes back, leaving the certified system exactly as commissioned. Neither is a box that only one supplier can service.
No margin in the middle
One platform instead of two, and no integrator sitting between you and the people who built it. You pay for the product and the delivery, not for the layer that joins two others together.
Local wherever it runs
Currency, tariff, carbon factor, timezone and the working week are configuration, not assumptions in the code — including a Friday to Saturday weekend. English, Arabic and Russian. Cloud, private cloud, or fully in-country.
